Engineering Services

expert engineering solutions, from complex piping designs to hazardous area management, ensuring safety, precision, and compliance

Mechanical designs

From low pressure to high pressure, Fox Hill Projects can provide complex piping system designs. Our design work includes:

  • Technical 2D and 3D drawings (engineering line diagrams, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, detailed pipework sections, isometric and fabrications drawings).
  • Pipeline modifications
  • Pressure reduction streams
  • Stainless steel, carbon steel, polyethylene and reinforced polyethylene
  • Feasibility studies
  • Calculations

Hazardous Areas

Fox Hill Projects can provide your project with a range of hazardous areas services including:

  • Design and calculations of pressure reliefs and building.
  • Ventilation to IGEM/SR/25
  • Hazardous area surveys
  • Area classification and zone designation
  • Risk assessments

G17 and GL5 designs

  • Pipeline sizing and route optimisation
  • Pressure regulating systems, pig trap installations, high pressure piping.
  • Site surveys and assessments
  • Risk Assessment
  • Experience working with all four GDNs

Stress Analysis

Fox Hill Projects can provide detailed stress analysis of piping systems for projects in accordance with IGEM and ASME requirements, using industry-standard Caesar II software.
Leading the way, we have completed stress analysis on high-pressure pipework, below-ground systems, and associated pipework feeding compressors, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels. The stress analysis packs we produce include:

  • Flexibility and fatigue assessments
  • Sustained and shakedown cases
  • Recommendations to ensure code compliance.

Cathodic protection

Cathodic protection systems are vital to maintaining the integrity of pipework, through corrosion prevention. We provide design, calculations, installation and surveying of CP systems.

Engineers are all accredited by ICorr (Institute of Corrosion)
